Do you need some sort of orthodontic procedure? Are you unsure of whether to get traditional braces or Invisalign?
At the Indianapolis Dentistry, Dr. Reese advises most of his patients to get braces. While Invisalign certainly has it's appealing assets, braces will get the job done better.
Braces are portrayed as having several inconveniences when it comes to eating. However, Invisalign has just as many. After a meal, a person with braces will only have to brush their teeth like they normally would in the morning or evening to remove any trapped food particles and typically, people can usually get by without brushing their teeth and braces after a meal. However, in most scenarios, a person with Invisalign has to remove their trays to eat or drink anything except water. Because of this, patients can end up in misplacing or even losing the trays. With braces, the wearer does not have to worry about that.
The most important component of the question however is which method will provide a better outcome. Dr. Reese has been noted saying that traditional braces produce a straighter and better smile than Invisalign. While invisalign is able to straighten teeth out, they can only do so in minor situations. For a serious case as well as minor ones, braces will provide the best looking teeth.
