Meet Dr. Aatif Ansari

Dear Valued Patients,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new owner of Indianapolis Dentistry. My name is Dr. Aatif Ansari, and I am thrilled to join this exceptional practice and community.

First, I want to acknowledge the passing of Dr. Ted Reese, whose dedication to providing outstanding care has left a profound legacy. His commitment to patient-centered care and his vision of creating a practice where every patient feels valued, cared for, and confident in their smiles will continue to inspire us.

As we move forward, I am dedicated to honoring Dr. Reese's legacy by embracing a holistic approach to dental care. Our focus will be on treating the whole person—addressing oral health as an integral part of overall well-being. This philosophy ensures that every patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs, fostering both healthy smiles and enhanced quality of life.

A little about me: I was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, I began my dental journey at the Army Medical College in Pakistan, where I completed my initial dental education and a one-year surgical internship. I then worked at Johns Hopkins International in the UAE before earning my DDS from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of practicing in emergency clinics, private practices, and hospital-based clinics both in the U.S. and internationally.

In addition to my clinical experience, I hold a preceptorship in hospital dentistry, and I’m a proud graduate of the Misch Implant Institute and the Kois Center. I am a Diplomat and Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, an Associate Fellow in the Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Fellow and Master in the American Academy of Implant Prosthetics, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. I am also certified in oral sedation, moderate IV sedation laser dentistry and hold dental licenses in Maine, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and internationally. I am passionate about continuing education, dedicating over 200 hours annually to advancing my skills in dental and medical care.

I am also excited to share that Dr. Nicole Quint will remain an integral part of the practice. Together, we form a phenomenal team, combining our expertise and shared commitment to comprehensive patient-centered care. Whether you’ve been with the practice for years or are new to our family, you can expect the same warmth, professionalism, and excellence every time you visit.
