You will be provided thorough care in an efficient manner that minimizes your visits, time away from work or home, and minimal interruption to your schedule. For many who have put off or intentionally avoided dental care, there can be extensive needs to restore their teeth and mouth to a pain-free, and trouble-free condition. Most dentists can provide the traditional needs of fillings, crowns, and even some routine root canal treatments, but when there are extensive needs, several missing teeth to replace, or the desire to have as much treatment accomplished in as few appointments as possible, Dr. Reese’s skill and experience can combine several different treatments in each appointment to save you time and prevent further suffering. One way to do this is through sedation dentistry.
Sedation Dentistry
Whether you may or may not need and desire sedation, Dr. Reese often combines several needs into one appointment. Not just several fillings in one visit, but fillings, crowns, root canals, and some dental implants can be completed in one visit.
Imagine it. You can come in with a badly hurting tooth ache, be sedated to allow you to comfortably sleep through having the painful nerve removed from the tooth, the damaged tooth restored with a post and core, than have the custom crown fabricated and cemented all in the same visit!
Same-Visit Crowns
With the new 3D imaging and milling technology of CEREC (CAD-CAM), Dr. Reese can custom fabricate and cement a porcelain crown in the same visit.
Same-Visit Dental Implants
If a tooth is non-restorable or missing and the jaw bone is able to support it, a dental implant can be placed with a temporary acrylic tooth in one-visit. Denture wearers can also have "mini dental implants" placed same-visit that work with existing dentures in order to better secure them in your mouth.
